Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of COT Edge ("the Service"), operated by the provider identified below. By using the Service or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

COT Edge fetches publicly available CFTC Commitment of Traders data and presents it as percentile rankings and positioning visualisations across a set of instruments. The data originates from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and is reproduced and reformatted for convenience. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.

2. No advice, no guarantees of results

• The Service provides information and analysis tools, not advice.
• We make no guarantee of any trading outcome, profit, or result.
• Past positioning or market behaviour does not predict future results.
• You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making financial decisions.

3. Subscriptions, billing and pricing

• Pro access is offered on a monthly or annual subscription, billed via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime via your Stripe billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change for future billing periods; you will not be charged a new price without notice.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund of that payment. Refunds apply to the first purchase; renewals are not automatically refundable but may be considered case by case.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute your license key or the Service's data feeds.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any trading losses, financial losses, lost profits, or any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its data.
• You use the Service entirely at your own risk and on your own judgement.
• Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Czech or EU law.

7. Data accuracy and availability

Data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. The CFTC report reflects positions as of the prior Tuesday and is published with a delay. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and presentation are owned by the provider. The underlying CFTC data is public. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service while subscribed.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under EU law remain unaffected. Disputes will be handled by the competent Czech courts, without prejudice to consumer rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
